A local family is currently in need after losing all their belongings in a house fire. They are seeking an apartment-sized stove and a double mattress w/ box springs. If you are able and willing to contribute in this or any other way, please contact Love INC at 359-0933.

Winter is coming and hundreds of families within our city need to stay warm.

The Etna Avenue Wesleyan Church wants to partner with you to help those in the Huntington community who are in need over the cold winter months.

Please donate a NEW blanket (handmade or bought). We want these families to know they are valued in our city.

Girl Scouts of Limberlost Council is holding a mass recruitment event on October 24, 2006 from 7-8 PM at the Boys and Girls Club of Huntington Co (608 E. Beth Stevens at transitional housing needs the interior of a home painted (at least three rooms). Supplies will be provided. This home needs painted A.S.A.P. A group of 5-15 people would be best. Preferably adults 15 and older.

The Huntington County Council on Aging needs a person, or persons, and materials to build ramps for homes of people who are wheelchair bound or have other mobility problems.

You are invited to join us as we host a FREE Benefit Concert on Sunday August 27th for Mitch VanNess. Mitch is a 14 year old boy in our Youth Group who was diagnosed with cancer. Scheduled appearances are Hot Sundae, Raising Daybreak, and 4Given. Doors open at 5:30pm, with concert starting at 6pm. Concessions will also be available. This event is free and open to the public so be sure to bring your whole family for an evening of worship, and lots of fun! Plan to attend!
